Hi Everyone — Over the years I have heard lots of people beating themselves up for not working hard enough or consistently enough at the lessons. And certainly I have done that to myself too and try to remind myself that it isn't productive to think that way. The long golden path we  see in Key 18 shows us that sometimes we can climb and sometimes we can coast down hill. But we can do both of those things without ever leaving the path. Working through the lessons takes us through a process that accelerates our karma. It is a golden opportunity but it is not easy. When we dedicate ourselves to this work we have to be in it for the long haul. Which, to me, means that sometimes we have lots of energy to put out into the universe and sometimes we have to give ourselves time to re-charge our internal batteries. It doesn't have to mean that we have stopped learning or that we are wavering in our dedication. Our goal is perfection but we aren't there yet. Remember that our bodies are eloquent and powerful teachers, we need to listen to what they are saying to us. Everyone of us is different so we can't judge ourselves and our own capabilities by what we see other people doing. If we can't give compassion and understanding to ourselves then we won't be able to genuinely give it to anyone else. Something else that (it seems to me) the lessons do for us is to enable us to manifest an abundant life. I frequently feel as though there is too much going on at once — when I am able to think of it as managing abundance I do much better than when I think of it as being overwhelmed by events and circumstances. The work we do in the world is subject to the limitations of time and space. The work we do within ourselves is limitless and eternal.  That's my two cents. Thanks for listening.
