Do you understand the difference between an adult heterosexual man and a man who chooses to rape a woman? Then you should understand the difference between a pedophile — defined by unchosen feelings — and a child molester — defined by chosen actions. If you don’t, there can only be two reasons:

1. You are really not very intelligent at all. This would make you stupid.
2. You are purposefully conflating us in order to vilify us, simply because you refuse to understand these basic concepts and you dislike us. This would make you malicious.

And yes, given that pedophiles are estimated to be only about one percent of the adult male population, we are — by definition — a minority. I suggest you take a dictionary and look the word up.
