Why do we only have two choices in a democracy? The choice between a leftist(marxist/change) and a rightist(conservative/go back) political party. Well I've finally decided to write up the politics section of the site and will tell you just why it is so. Both of the two political parties have certain appeals to them, both have good ideas, good economic policy, good intentions, but both inevitably fail. I'm going to give one example for each, others you can figure out for yourself. On the left we have equality. Equality is a good trait, equal chances, equal protection under the law, equal treatment for all economic classes, and so on. To say that all people are biologically equal though is not true. All must be equal though, and if that means that we shall all be dumbed down so that we may extend this equality to the most retarded of society than that will be done. On the right we shall use less government regulators. Sounds good doesn't it, to get all those little state bureaucrats away from your small businesses and farms. What is the need for state interference since you conduct honest business and grow only the purest of grains. Of course without some regulation that giant corporation down the street will buy out your businesses and farms. Then it will replace them with their corrupt business and their gmo grains, before going over-seas leaving the country without and agriculture or industry. As you can see both of these good ideas ended in ruin. Both of the ideologies are designed to be half-right and half-wrong. The way that this is done is that a good complete policy will be taken and split apart between the two political systems. In order to make the half of a good policy look complete again to the general populace they will then take a complete bad policy, split it in-two between the two ideologies, and then attach them half bad to the half good ideology. After that has been done you have the appearance once more of a complete and workable policy. Another purpose for the two party system is that of stagnation. Since neither side of the equation can produce a proper result. People will keep going back and forth hoping that this time they will get the results they were looking for. After all, the other guys seem to be right on half the things they say. This continual back and forth between the political parties will never result in a positive change, but a slow gradual plummet into the abyss. When the sheeple finally hit the bottom of this abyss they, possessing a very short political memory will not remember their being shoved off the cliffs edge, and will believe that they have always been at the bottom. Anyone that were to try and convince them other-wise would be a scary conspiracy person. After all no one that they talk to has ever spoke of being shoved off of anything, and for someone to speak of such non-conformal things must mean that the speaker is insane. Although being at the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder can be quite miserable. Working six-teen hours a day seven days a week for starvation wages is not for everyone. Most people will do anything to improve their living conditions to something beyond basic sustenance. Any person that can see a possibility for a better future on the horizon will run at it. This will of course be anticipated by the ruling class. For this occurrence they will have selected a strong-man character to act as a revolutionary leader. This leader will not touch the REAL rulers, even if it appears that he is killing a lot of the rulers of a country. If the revolutionary leader fails the rulers will clamp down harder while nothing else changes. Now if the revolutionary were to succeed however, the average standard of living would increase. Of course this will only be temporary. Anyone who would go against the new-found prosperity would be persecuted and in many cases hunted down and killed. After this further consolidation of power living standards are usually eroded again until barely anything is left. And if the people were to try another revolution again, then a similar cycle would start again. NOTE: this may not be the best article in the world. I forgot about it for a few weeks and then tried to finish it up.
